Disbursement ratio (%)

Definition

Amount disbursed during the reporting period over undisbursed balance (commitments) at the beginning of the reporting period, multiplied by 100. Trade finance is excluded.

Why it matters for the OPEC Fund

The Disbursement Ratio tracks the proportion of committed funds that have been disbursed, serving as a key indicator of operational efficiency and timeliness in project implementation. Maintaining this efficiency requires robust operational systems and sufficient capacity to manage the complexities of project implementation.
