Climate Solutions Week 2026

Overview

The Climate Solutions Week 2026 will take place in Vienna on April 7-9, 2026, hosted by the OPEC Fund, to advance practical, finance-ready climate solutions at the water, adaptation and nature nexus. A key milestone will be a high-level water roundtable co-organized with the World Bank on April 7, bringing together multilateral development banks, development finance institutions, philanthropy and governments. Held ahead of the Spring Meetings, the roundtable will support alignment and potential commitments in support of the Global Water Mission. 

The Climate Solutions Week will bring together key partners to align on priorities and resilience financing through plenaries, closed -door roundtables and targeted working sessions. April 9 will convene the Nature Solutions Finance Hub Partners Forum.

Objectives 

The Climate Solutions Week 2026 aims to: 

• Convene a high -level water roundtable immediately ahead of the Spring Meetings related to the Global Water Mission 
• Advance practical and scalable solutions to strengthen climate resilience. 
• Support adaptation and resilience finance, including blended finance approaches and partnerships that mobilize capital at scale 
• Strengthen project/program readiness through targeted technical exchange, solution labs, and project clinics 
• Align key actors around shared priorities in the lead -up to the UN Water Conference 2026 
• Strengthen South-South cooperation through the Nature Solutions Finance Hub and the launch of the OPEC Fund Green Blue Accelerator
