Venue:

OPEC Fund's Headquarters located at Parking 6-8, 1010, Vienna, Austria.

How to get to the Venue:

Vienna Airport is situated ∼ 20 kilometers from the Vienna city center and is well connected to the public transportation network.

From Vienna International Airport:

• take a taxi (standing in front of the airport terminal, estimated cost EUR 55-75, travel time ∼ 35 minutes to city center), or UBER (demand-based pricing is estimated EUR 40-70);
• take a standard local train Schnellbahn S7 (S-Bahn) - costs EUR 4, travel time ∼ 35 minutes - until “Landstrasse” Station;
• take a City Airport Train (CAT) - non-stop train, costs ∼ EUR 15, departs every 30 minutes, travel time ∼ 16 minutes - until “Landstrasse” Station;

From “Landstrasse” Underground Station:

• walk for 7 minutes passing across the City Park/Stadtpark.

From Stephansplatz:

• take Underground U3 line and take off at “Stubentor” station (1 stop) then walk for approximately 2 minutes, or
• walk from Stephansplatz for approximately 10 minutes.

 From your Hotel:

You can get there by walking (depending on the distance) or taking the U3 train line (also U1 or U4) or Tram 2.

Visa:

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of the required visa for travel and are advised to contact their Austrian embassy or consulate for visa requirements.

General Information:

Language: All sessions will be in English language.

Refreshment: Coffee and lunch will be served on premises during the conference.

Weather in Vienna:

In October, Vienna experiences cool temperatures ranging from 5°C to 16°C (40°F to 60°F). Mornings and evenings can be chilly, with occasional rain. It is recommended to plan for low temperatures and bring warm clothing (layers), including coat or warm jacket, sweaters, scarf, head warmer, and warm or waterproof shoes in case of wet weather. Don’t forget an umbrella!
