Overview
The OPEC Fund for International Development will have a substantial presence at the COP29 Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan from November 11 to November 22, 2024.
With a delegation led by President Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, the OPEC Fund will co-host various sessions with partner governments, peer development banks and UN agencies on questions including:
- How to ramp up climate finance for agriculture and food security?
- How to expand innovative financing for energy transition?
- How to update policy-based loans for climate action?
From our pavilion in the Blue Zone we will also host a range of launch events, including for:
