The Project aimed at enhancing the employability of Palestinian youth in Gaza by offering a diverse range of opportunities for training that is relevant to local market needs. This included the placement of 55 graduate engineers at two municipalities in the Gaza Strip (Dair EL Balah and Jabalia) to assist in developing the Geographical Information System (GIS). Furthermore, the Project entailed the training and employment of 100 young professionals in different productive sectors, particularly healthcare, agriculture and the administrative support. The Project also enhanced the skills and employment prospects of 50 young persons with disabilities through combined vocational training and employment. Project Outputs: 1. The Geographical Information System (GIS) for 2 Gaza Strip municipalities is developed through employment generation for 55 university graduates; 2. Employment opportunities secured for 100 graduates to improve the humanitarian, health, social and cultural services for Gazans through apprenticeship; 3. The employability of 50 PwD was enhanced through combined vocational skilling and employment.
