To upgrade 27 km of roads to improve the population’s access to health, education and other social services and lower the cost of transporting agricultural produce and other goods. The project will lead to lower transport costs of finished and semi-finished goods, which will stimulate manufacturing, mining, tourism, agriculture and trade in many ways. It will also will reduce the cost of marketing and transport, increase the financial returns to farmers and miners, improve the quality of the produce and encourage the production of higher-value consumables.
