To improve the quality of life and boost Nepal’s socio-economic development by carrying out improvements/construction of infrastructure in the Biratnagar, Birgunj and Butwal municiplaities and the Kavre Valley. Works will include:
- construction of water supply and sewerage systems, as well as a wastewater treatment plant and sanitary landfill
- connection of 25,000 new households to the sewer network
- upgrading of 44 km of roads and installation of drainage and sewerage pipe networks
- installation of public and community small-scale water supply and sewerage facilties
- upgrading of 110 km of water supply pipes in the Kavre Valley
- connection of 3,000 new households and 4,5000 households in the Kavre Vallley with improved water supply services
