This project will rehabilitate and expand the freight terminal of the airport with a view to raising service quality and improving safety and security. Works to be carried out include: construction of new facilities and warehouses purchase and installation of new handling and storage equipment to facilitate the transport, handling and transfer of freight products provision of special safety equipment for checking import/export products The project will have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the region, as Abidjan is the economic capital of the country and has a population of about five million inhabitants.
