This project will improve access to safe drinking water and provide basic sanitation services for over 30,000 people in Trinidad city and neighboring townships, thereby helping enhance health indicators and living conditions. This will be carried out by rehabilitating and expanding the water supply system and construction of the basic sanitation network. The new infrastructure will guarantee a minimum supply of drinking water 265 liters/person/day, with an average continuous service of at least 16 hours. The project is also expected to attract more investments and strengthen the already flourishing local tourism activities in the city.
