Training of Educational Planners and Trainers in Africa

The grant was allocated to meet the cost of training 18 key educational planners from Africa at the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), as well as supporting two training-of-trainers courses in Africa which benefited 40 participants. A total of 17 educational planners were trained during the 1985/86, 1986/87 and 1987/88 academic years at the IIEP, and the last candidate attended the 1988-89 program.
