To provide higher education opportunities in three provinces, populated by some 850,000 people, where no universities exist. The colleges will be located in manufacturing and industrial centers, thus helping ensure the employability of the graduates. Works will include:

  • construction of three new faculty buildings in the Easterm Northwestern and Western provinces, each of which will have lecture rooms and theaters, libraries and computer labs, among other features;
  • provision of equipment and furniture; and
  • consultancy services.
On completion, the project will equip graduates with all the skills necessary to participate in National Development at every level of education. In addition, the establishment of these universities will address the current shortfall of teachers in mathematics, science, technology and applied arts.
