The First General Conference of COSIS aims to promote science-driven economic development in developing countries and to promote South-South and North-South copperation in development and application of science and technology in developing countries. The conference will be held prior to the Third Sout Summit in August 2011.OFID's contribution will co-finance the preparatory activities and reports to be presented at the conference.
