This project aimed to improve healthcare services provided to Palestinian children with disabilities or special needs through developing and strengthening the capacities of institutions providing these services in marginalized communities in the West Bank including Jerusalem. The project directly benefited about 2,000 children with special needs, who receive the regular services of the targeted local institutions. Project Outputs: In accordance with the implementation plan, the project undertook the following activities: 1. Training and capacity building of key staff members working at the targeted institutions; 2. Rehabilitation and infrastructure improvement for the beneficiary local organizations, including enhancing their facilities and the provision of essential equipment, which contributes to enhancing the quality of their services and expanding their outreach.
