This program aims at addressing a number of health conditions endured by Palestinian refugees in Lebanon the majority of whom lacks access to adequate health care due to their specific status. The CARE Programme provides much needed costly medical treatment for patients suffering from cancer, multiple sclerosis, thalassemia, cardiovascular interventions, joint and bone surgeries, chronic liver hepatitis, post kidney transplant and other ailments at Private hospitals in Lebanon. The OFID grant assisted 70 Palestine refugees suffering from catastrophic health conditions until February 2018. The conditions included: Cancer, Joint and Bone Surgeries, Congenital Heart Malformations, Heart Surgeries, Diverse Medical Treatment, Diverse Surgeries, Multiple Sclerosis and Thalassemia.
