To support a rural poverty reduction program with target groups that include:

  • poor rural women and youth, grouped as small agricultural producers;
  • peasants living in vulnerable highlands; micro-entrepreneurs with potential for insertion in value chains (agricultural and non-agricultural);
  • small entrepreneurs in transformation and value-aggregation; traditional inland fish harvesters; and indigenous populations, among others.
Approximately 40,000 families will benefit from the project, including 15,000 from the provision of technical assistance, capitalization funds, rural roads and financial services; and over 25,000 families benefiting indirectly from improved access roads and basic social infrastructure, as well as enhanced territorial and municipal planning.
