To carry out sub-projects that will provide infrastructure and carry out training and capacity building schemes. Around 400,000 inhabitants will receive piped-in water supplies, and over 20,000 households improved sanitation facilities. Works will include:
- construction of 26 water supply and treatment systems and around 20,300 private toilets with septic tanks for low-income households
- provision of septic waste management facilities and equipment in 14 towns, and construction of two decentralized wastewater treatment facilities
- installation of drainage systems in flood-prone towns
- improvement of about 24 existing water supply systems
