Under the project, the following works will be carried out:
- dredging and enlargement of the Itampka Lake;
- construction of a 4,500 m3-capacity treatment plant built;
- construction of a 16 km-long pipeline that will bring water from the Itampka Lake to the city’s Mawanga Water Storage Center;
- rehabilitation of existing storage tanks and building of new ones;
- construction of a water tower near the Singida Airport;
- installation of a 156 km-long water distribution network within Singida, as well as an extensive conveyance system to household connections.
