The project aims at improving the health and the living conditions of the residents in Shu'fat camp through upgrading the storm water and sewerage networks in the camp. Following project completion, approximately 20 percent of the households in the camp are now connected to the newly refurbished public sewerage and storm water networks. The project outputs: 1. More than 2,930 meters of sewerage pipes of main and branch lines were laid; 2. 630 meters of storm water pipes were installed; 3. More than 700 meters of waters pipes have been adjusted and relocated; 4. More than 420 manholes of various types and capacities have been completed along with an excess of 4,260 meters of reinstatement work for pavement layer over trenches of sewage and drainage lines has been done.
