The project aims at providing potable water to seven rural towns in Guinea (Koundara, Labe, Dingruiraye, Bouké, Telimele, Mamou, Siguiri). The project will also provide for the extension of water distribution networks to needy communities. The OPEC Fund will completely finance the construction works in the towns of Boké and Mamou.
