This project aims at improving connectivity within the country and between Thailand, Vietnam and Lao PDR. This will help boost productivity, facilitate commercial activities and improve access to social services and markets in the Houaphanh province in northeastern Lao PDR. Works will include upgrading 143 km of roads, installing drainage structures and constructing/replacing bridges and culverts. When completed the project will help ease transport constraints for around 60,000 people.
