The project aims at reducing poverty and improving livelihoods in the Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga and Mountain provinces. Works will be include social mobilization, participatory investment planning and land titling; community watershed conservation, forest management and agro-forestry; agriculture and agribusiness development and income generation activities.

OFID’s loan will specifically co-finance the development of rural infrastructure, such as roads, irrigation schemes and water supply systems and community infrastructure. Some 12,530 households will benefit from the project, which will directly generate income-earning opportunities for an additional 94,000 individuals.
