To promote socio-economic development by facilitating domestic and regional trade in Bangladesh. The project will upgrade part of the Dhaka-Northwest Corridor, the Joydebpur-Chandra-Tangail-Elenga road, to a four-lane highway. Improvements will also be carried out at two land ports at Benapole and Burimari.
