The project aimed at improving the health and quality of life of Haitians by increasing sustainable access to potable water and sanitation and strenghtening local institutions capacity to manage and sustain potable water and sanitation systems. The project directly supporedt Haiti's national investment program in physical construction and rehabilitation of water supply and sanitation infrastructures.
