Rural Development Project in the Coastal Zones of Lake Managua

The project aimed to improve the living conditions of farming families living in the villages south of Lake Managua, where people had been exposed to degraded soils, large-scale depletion of natural resources and deforestation in the past through promoting sustainable production alternatives and strengthening leadership and self-governing capacities.
