The project will carry out the following works in the Far Western Region:
- upgrading of an existing road betwen Bhatkanda and Silgarhi to a low-cost all-weather asphalt road (Doti Road-74 km);
- reconstruction of a 120 km-long bridge crossing the Mohana River near Dhangarhi;
- improvement of a 130 km stretch of an eastern section of the East-West Highway; and
- rehabilitation and resealing of 250 km of roads.
