The objective of this project, managed and monitored by UNDP/PAPP, was to ensure adequate and safe housing through the rehabilitation of severely or partially damaged houses in the Gaza Strip. The intervention addressed the displacement crisis resulting from the 2014 war. The project also created job opportunities throughout implementation. Project Outputs: 1. Rehabilitation of 69 units severely damaged in the 2014 hostilities; 2. Rehabilitation of 73 units with minor damages in the 2014 hostilities. Project Impact: 1. Under this intervention, about 2 % of the needs for rehabilitation of the partially damaged units within the Gaza Strip were met, serving 157 families. 2. The Project achieved its main objective to improve the living conditions of part of the affected population due to the 2014 hostilities on the Gaza Strip through inclusive, viable, and equitable delivery of basic and social services, contributing to human development.
