The proposed project aimed at improving the living conditions of the Palestinian inhabitants of Hebron through the rehabilitation of eighty five residential units belonging to disadvantaged families in the Old City, which are housed within historic buildings dating back to the Mamluk and the Ottoman period. Furthermore, it involved the restoration works of parts of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron. The project was implemented, under the supervision of the IsDB, by the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee (HRC), a non-profit organization whose work focuses on urban rehabilitation, cultural preservation as well as social and economic development. The project delivered all planned activities and was successfully completed.
