The grant supported a project established by the IsDB to repair and rebuild homes and public buildings that have been damaged or destroyed by Israeli military incursions into Palestine. The IsDB project began in February 2001 and around 29,000 had been renovated. In its second phase, the project has intensified its efforts and widened its scope to include the repair of damaged roads and to provide assistance to Palestinians who have been left homeles.
