The Islamic Society was established in 1993 in Rafah as a non-profit, non-political NGO and aims to address the urgent needs of Palestinians through provision of relief services to the orphans children patients and very poor underserved communities. The grant supported the continuity of the Society's activities to provide medical and relief services to orphan children and underserved communities.
