This transaction will support construction of a 55,000 MT petroleum storage facility located in Tema, 29 km east of the capital Accra. The project will help develop critical petroleum products distribution infrastructure in Ghana which faces periodic fuel shortages due to the lack of affordable petroleum products supply. This will help strengthen private sector participation in the oil products supply chain and reinforce the Government of Ghana’s deregulation efforts of the petroleum products distribution sector by supporting development of the private sector owned infrastructure.
