This project will involve the following:
- replacement/rehabilitation of cyclone-damaged schools in the provinces of Fianarantsoa and Toamasina;
- refurbishment of approximately 180 primary and 20 secondary schools will be refurbished;
- rehabilitation of around 770 classrooms and construction of 300 new ones constructed;
- improvement of teacher training; and
- provision of textbooks, instructional training and equipment.
