This project financed the construction of a petroleum tank farm with a total capacity of 8,500 m3 at Apia Harbor. Works included the construction of vertical tanks capable of storing 3.1 million liters of gasoline, 3.7 liters of diesel and 1.7 liters of jet fuel. This scheme helped the country meet current and projected fuel needs and insured adequate reserves against shortages caused by natural disasters.
