This project will rehabilitate the Péligre plant to bring all three generators to full working capacity. The transmission system to Port-au-Prince will also be repaired. On completion, the project will improve living conditions among the beneficiary population, particularly impoverished families who will no longer need to divert household funds to purchase fuelwood and other types of energy.
