Objectives are to increase crop production through: Construction of protection dykes; 10 pumping stations; irrigation and drainage networks including main, secondary and tertiary canals totalling 27 km. Other structures to be constructed within the networks include partitioning structures; irrigation intakes and cross-over structures equipped with dykes and culverts. The project will construct main, secondary and tertiary access roads as well as cooperatives. It will finance vehicles, boreholes, agricultural inputs and office equipment/furniture.
