The project is expected to benefit around 250,000 people living in 15 major potential growth centers in hill districts and 46 adjoining villages. Works will include:
- construction of eight mini hydroelectric power stations, including associated transmission, distribution, service connections;
- provision of amaintenance workshop and training facilities; and
- consultancy services.
