The National Association of Moderation and Development (NAMD) was founded in 2002 as a community based non-governmental not profitable charitable association which aims to provide social and cultural services to the Palestinian community across Palestine. The proposed project generated income through supporting farmers by land reclamation activities and irrigation systems, and aimed at supporting the local economy by reducing unemployment and creating jobs, contributing to the development of local agriculture, improving agricultural outputs, generating income for poor farmers and their families, improved food industries that depend on the agricultural sector. The project directly benefited 1,000 poor farmers.
