The aims of the project are to improve the health status of the population of DR Congo, particularly in the populous capital Kinshasa. Its specific objectives are to: enhance access to tertiary healthcare services improve the quality of scientific research in the health field develop vocational training for doctors and other health professionals The project will therefore raise the capacity of Kinshasa University Hospital to 1,000 beds through the: rehabilitation of six buildings and construction of two new three-story ones purchasing of new hospital equipment and furniture, as well as hospital vehicles rehabilitation of water and sanitation infrastructure consultancy services
