Job Creation Programs for Palestinians in Gaza

The project supported the implementation of the Job Creation Program in the Gaza Strip for one year starting in July 2011. The Program injected cash into the local economy and supported the private sector through additional human resources. Its innovative approach prioritized employment opportunities for youth, women, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. It is expected to generate 54,000 jobs fo refugees and inject over US$51.00 million in wages into the economy. Its total budget is US$57.33 million.
