The grant contributed to strengthening the local health services in the major cities, refugee camps and rural areas in Palestine. The project was implemented jointly by UNDP, UNRWA, the Welfare Association and AGFUND. The OPEC Fund grant financed the establishment of an emergency health and community service center in Rafah (US$130,000), and the emergency psychological counseling program in the West Bank (US$70,000), as proposed by AGFUND.
