The project enhanced the role of legumes in soil fertility restoration and ecosystem services provision, identified market channels, constraints and opportunities for increasing farmers access to the national, regional and international grain legume market, built the capacity of smallholder farmers and scale best-bet legume soil fertility enhancing technologies.
