The grant supported the livelihood of pastoralist communities in one of the poorest regions Hurri Hills in Northern Kenya, through the improvement of quality and access to clean safe water through construction of water catchments, hygiene awareness, and capacity building. The project benefited directly approximately 1,750 people who received better access to clean water and improved health conditions and socio-economic welfare.
