The main objective of this project, which has two components, was to improve access to efficient cooking stoves in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, and to begin manufacturing them in the later region. Component 1 provided access to a new heavy duty cookstove for public institutions in six Sub-Saharan Africa countries. The number of direct beneficiaries in Sub-Saharan Africa reached nearly 923,000 people.
