The grant was extended to the WorldFish Center with the aim to (i) increase adoption of integrated aquaculture-agriculture (IAA) by poor farmers through replication of rural aquaculture development models successfully demonstrated in Southern Malawi; (ii) increase access by poor farmers to technologies for integration of aquaculture into smallholder farming systems; (iii) strengthen capacity of national and local institutions to support the application of these technologies.
