The grant contributed to the construction of the Islamic Cemetery on a donated land area of 33,000 m2 located on Laxenburgerstrasse/ Grossmarktstrasse, 1100 Vienna. The project budget of Euro 1,020,000 covered the construction of the entrance hall, administration, morgue, building of water, heating and electricity installation and prayer room. The latter component has been covered by the Fund’s grant.
