The grant contributed specifically to the Establishment of a Charitable Bread Bakery in Nablus, Palestine, sponsored by the Hawwa Center for Culture and Arts. The bakery has a daily production capacity of 2,500 kg of bread, of which 300 kg are beeing distributed free of charge to needy families. The bakery provided job opportunities for 15 poor women, who are the sole wage earners for their families.
