To connect 69 villages to the electricity grid, benefiting at least 5,000 households. Project components include

  • extension and construction of medium-voltage networks
  • construction of low voltage networks
  • procurement and supply of connection equipment and prepaid meters for 5,000 customer connections
The provision of modern energy will raise the productivity of key income-generation activities, thus helping promote the country’s socio-economic development. In addition, health and safety risks associated with the use of kerosene lamps are expected to reduce significantly.
