The overall objectives of the project aimed to improve crop productivity and food security, increased farm incomes, and improved the overall livelihoods of small-scale farmers in western Kenya and northern Tanzania, through the practice of Integrated Soil Fertility Management, where fertilizers and other organic inputs were used to maximize nutrients and crop productivity.
