The grant co-financed a program targeting the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Oblas (GBAO) region.The project contributed to enhance pre-primary children's acdess to early childhood development (ECD) services through expansion of the community based ECD model. The percentage of children accessing ECD opportunities increased form 9% in 2009 to 14% in 2010, similary significant improvements have been made in learning achievements.
