DEEP was implemented through a grant support of USD 30 million - expandable, funded by a group of Arab and Islamic Funds including: Al-Aqsa Fund, Saudi Fund for Development, Arab Monetary Fund, Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, Qatar Charity and Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. DEEP was administered by the IsDB and executed by the United Nations Development Programme/Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP). DEEP benefitted around 3,200 poor households and micro enterprises in Jerusalem during the four years period. The expected output covered development of income generation activities with needed capital for targeted households, and capacity building for partner.
