The project construct a general hospital in Dangara, an area with low healthcare delivery, through carrying out the following works:
- construction of a 150-bed, 9,000 m2 building;
- construction of specialty departments for pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology and internal medicine;
- building of emergency and intensive care units;
- procurement of modern equipment and supplies;
- purchase of an initial supply of medication for the hospital’s first year of operation;
- implmentation of training programs to locally-recruited medical specialists; and
- institutional strengthening measures.
